Purpose

SecureCommit is designed to assist developers in identifying and avoiding the inclusion of potentially sensitive information in version control commits. It does so by detecting user-marked lines or patterns within your workspace.

Disclaimer

The Extension is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. There is no guarantee that all sensitive data will be detected or prevented from being committed. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that no sensitive data is pushed to version control systems.

Data and Privacy

SecureCommit does not transmit or store any data externally. All scans and flagged files are handled locally within your development environment.

Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall the creator(s) of SecureCommit be held liable for any loss, damage, or security breach arising from the use or misuse of this Extension.

Modifications

The author reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Extension after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
